I joined FXB Columbus in March 2024. Tbh, I wasn't expecting much when I enrolled - I was extremely obese, led a physically inactive lifestyle and I didn't think I would be able to pull through. So when I enrolled in the 10-week challenge, I mentioned in my goal card that I wanted to lose "10 pounds" by the end of 10 weeks. I felt even that was pretty ambitious. But as I attended the workout sessions, I realized that I wasn't alone. I noticed everyone (regardless of how long they had been here) had their own set of goals they were working on. Everyone was pushing each other to keep going, to achieve those goals, to lead a healthy lifestyle and have fun while at it. You make some good friends along the way, so that's an added bonus. The instructors design the workouts really well to ensure you get all your muscles worked up in the right way and every week is different. There are special events from time to time that keep you excited and challenged. Everything is very professional - you have coaches and nutrition specialists to give you individual attention and technology that does in-body scans periodically.
And if that has not been convincing enough, let me share some numbers with you, as numbers don't lie. From March to July 2024, I lost more than 30 pounds, cut down my 1-mile run time by 6 minutes, went from 26 pushups in a minute to 54 in a minute, went from 23 situps in a minute to 37 in a minute, finished in the top 3 of the 10-week challenge and much more.
That 10 pound goal I chalked out in the beginning doesn't seem too unrealistic now, does it? If I can do it, anyone can. HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND FXB COLUMBUS to anyone wanting to do something productive and fun with their time. Come try it out and see the results for yourself.
